Journey around North and Central America
I’ve been travelling through North and Central America in a van together with my boyfriend and our two dogs. Sometimes we had hard times with not having enough space, having way too much heat or being exposed to the whims of the police in Central America. By now it really takes a lot to freak me out. Nevertheless the journey taught me so much: flexibility, the ability to adapt easily to new circumstances, what privilege means, the beauty of nature, mountains and ice. And the joy of being outside all day, every day.

Since 2016
I’ve been working in a handful of restaurants or other customer-service-related jobs over the years. It helped me to learn to deal with unfriendly people and to be a good team player even though the company might not be the best employer. I also learned how to make small talk.
